New Jersey

New Jersey is a state in the Northeastern and Middle Atlantic regions of the United States. As of the United States 2010 Census, its population was 8,791,894. It is bordered on the north and east by the state of New York, on the southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, on the west by Pennsylvania and on the southwest by Delaware. It is the most densely populated state in the United States. It is also the second wealthiest. Due to the major highways and cities located in and around the state, many residents and visitors take advantage of and contribute to performances in music, theater, and dance. There are many theater and dance companies throughout the region. New Jersey's amusement parks are some of the most unique in the world, ranging from the world's largest seasonal theme park, to the biggest drive-thru safari outside of Africa, to an amusement and water park spread across three piers above the beach.
